Forsyth Park, Savannah, GA - 2007I'd like to give a shout out to my Dad (a.k.a. Pop)! As many of you know, my Dad has been through more than any person should ever have to endure. He shouldn't even be alive according to medical standards due to a major brain hemorrhage he suffered because of being on blood thinning medication. This incident has left him with permanent daily challenges ... although he's ALIVE (praise the Lord!), certain physical and/or mental things have become hard or impossible for him, things that many of us take for granted.
Recently Pop decided to give up smoking! I believe he's going on 3 weeks now with no cigarettes! Way to go, Dad! I'm so proud of you for this accomplishment! I value the example you've set for your 4 little grandsons who watch your every move and love their Poppy so very much!
I know that there is nothing you can't accomplish once you have your mind made up! You are a strong and loving man, Dad & Poppy! I love you!
